No serious talks have been held between Fano and government so far. Fano group are of the view that there is no use talking to the current government. They want to topple Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s government by reaching Addis Ababa, the capital. The government, on the other hand, wants to crush Fano through military operations.
