An Ethiopian millionaire has been shot dead in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia. Biresaw Minalu was killed on Monday.
Biresaw was originally from the Amhara region of Ethiopia. Born in Bichena East Gojjam, he was residing in Lemi Kura Addis Ababa. The millionaire was the founder of Berenta Cement. He had investments in hoteling, construction and other industrial sectors.
Biresaw Minalu was shot dead at the door of his house on Monday. Reportedly, the businessman was shot while he was in a car at the gate of his residence located in Lemi Kura Addis Ababa.
The funeral of Biresaw was held today at Salite Mehret Church Addis Ababa. According to Addis Ababa police, investigation is underway into the death of the business tycoon.
