How to Enroll in Addis Ababa University Regular Undergraduate Program 2026/27?
You can enroll in Addis Ababa university undergraduate regular program 2026/27 G.C. (2019 E.C.) , under government sponsorship or self-sponsorship from August 25, 2026 To September 4, 2026. Follow these steps to enroll:
Open the portal of Addis Ababa University https://admission.aau.edu.et. Click on Undergraduate application on the top left side of the window. From Undergraduate Student, Click on Apply. Click on Call for Undergraduate Regular Admission. Click on Apply now, after reviewing the programs.. Enter your FAYDA number and click on Validate. Enter the OTP sent via SMS to your phone number. Once validated, create an account by using your working email address and a password of at least 8 characters.
After creating an account once, you can use LOG IN button to log in to your AAU applicant account using your email address and the password. Fill out the form “Your Academic Profile” and Click on UPDATE and then NEXT. Select Regular as your admission Type. Choose Cost-sharing sponsorship or Self-Sponsorship on the Financing Your Study section. If you choose a Cost-sharing sponsorship, you will have to choose at least one justifiable reason from the ones listed below and then attach evidence in PDF format, with size not more than 5MB. Select Program Choice and then Click Continue. If you select Self-Sponsored, select the ten options provided on the Program Choice form and click Continue. If you select Cost-sharing sponsorship, select either Natural Science Freshman or Social Science Freshman and click Continue. Upload your 12th-grade result certificate and 9th-12th transcript, in PDF formats, each sizing a maximum of 5MB. Select your preferred entrance exam location from the available drop-down options by clicking Undergraduate Admission Test (UAT) Exam Location. Read the Consent Statements Select Accept and Click CONTINUE. You can review your application at this stage by clicking the View summary button. You can change or update your information by clicking the Academic Profile button on the top. To pay the amount specified for the registration fee and UAT test, Click on Continue to Payment and then Click on Proceed to Payment. Click on Completion of payment to pay ETB 750 through Telebirr. You can also scan the QR code and pay accordingly.
Click on UAT ADMISSION TICKET to get UAT ticket. Click on EXAM SCHEDULE to get UAT schedule. After taking the UAT, Click EXAM RESULT to know UAT result. Click SEE ADMISSION STATUS to know your final outcome for admission. The UAT examination will be conducted from September 7– 9, 2026. The UAT is administered digitally, using the secure network infrastructure of AAU. You can check your UAT result by logging into your application portal https://admission.aau.edu.et
