How to check university placement for successful Ethiopian 12th grade students? The Ethiopian Ministry of Education has announced the public university placement for students who passed the 2018 E.C. Grade 12 national examination and qualified for higher education.
The placement takes into account students’ scores, preferences, university intake capacities, and gender. 70% of students have been assigned to universities outside their own region/zone, while 30% have been assigned within their own region/zone. Students who scored 500 points or higher have been assigned to their first-choice university; students who are blind or have hearing impairments have been assigned to universities that provide specialized support.

Complaints cannot be submitted in person at the Ministry’s offices. The Ministry of Education has warned that submitting false evidence will result in the cancellation of the placement.
