Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki, on Saturday, delivered a speech on the occasion of Eritrean Independence Day. He lashed out at neighboring Ethiopia.

But in yesterday’s speech, he did not say a word about TPLF and restrained from criticizing the new US administration led by President Donald Trump.
Talking about domestic issued he said, ” our development programs which continue to be pursued in accordance with their sectoral priorities (water infrastructure, energy/electricity, agriculture, marine resources, physical infrastructure – as well as housing, transport, education, health, tourism…etc.) will be further bolstered through an Integrated Development Program that will be implemented in the Six Regions in the current year.”
