Oromia Bank has released a mobile phone application called “Milkii”. Using the application, the customers can get loans without guarantee. The bank launched this application on Wednesday at a ceremony held at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Addis Ababa.
Milkii, the digital loan service, will not only expand the access to digital banking but also ensure financial inclusion, says Oromia bank.
Milkii application offers several loan services including Milkii Fortu and Milkii Harme. Different loan services cater to the needs of different communities like entrepreneurs, women, salaried persons, those who earn daily wages etc. In addition, it includes loans for small and medium enterprises, loans for mobile, electronics and home appliances and other packages.
Customers can get a quick loan service within seconds by registering on the Milkii app that is downloaded on their mobile phone without having to come to the bank in person or present a loan guarantee. Customers can visit the Oromia bank website for more details.
