Brigade Nhamedu (BN), formed around two years ago, announced today that it is time to fight back. The Eritrean opposition group, since its formation, has carried out dozens of attacks on Eritrean festivals and community gatherings in Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Israel, US, Canada and other countries.
Eritrean government and pro government diaspora activists say that BN is a non Eritrean group backed by Eritrean enemies and hostile intelligence agencies. BN members are facing trials and inquiries in Israel, Canada, Germany and other countries for their acts of violence regarding attacks on Eritrean community gatherings.
Robel Asmelash, chairman of Brigade Ni’hamedu’s UK chapter, today said in a talk that Brighade Nhamedu members believe “it is time to fight back”.
