Ethiopian Drones Hit Tigray over 15 Times Tonight
Ethiopian drones hit Tigray over 15 times tonight. The drone strikes mainly happened in north western part of the Tigray region.
According to Tigray local government officials, the drone strikes were conducted by the Ethiopian air force in Asgede and Dedebit districts. The strikes happened between 09:00 PM and 10:00 PM local time.
In Asgede district, Mayhanse Secondary schools was hit. While in Dedebit, at least 5 strikes were carried out in Tselimoy. Reports are coming in about at least one drone strike near Endabaguna situated on Shire-Tselemti road.
On Tuesday, Ethiopian air force conducted over 20 drone strikes in mostly southern Tigray zone. On Wednesday, Tigray military announced the start of a Counter Defense Campaign. Since Tuesday night, heavy fighting has been ongoing between opposition forces and Ethiopian federal forces. Opposition forces consist of Tigray military, Fano militias and Afar Ugugumo fighters, which are jointly attacking federal forces in Tigray, Amhara and Afar regions.
