Ethiopian Academic Year 2026 to Begin on September 15

Ethiopian academic year 2026 (2019 Ethiopian calendar) will begin on September 15 (Meskerem 5). Ethiopian Ministry of Education has made an announcement about it.
The Ministry has sent the 2026 academic year calendar to all regional states and city administration education offices. According to the calendar, the registration of new students for the 2026 academic year ( 2019 Ethiopian calendar) will take place from September 01, 2026 to September 10, 2026 (Nehase 26, 2018 to Pugame 5, 2018 Ethiopian Calendar). Formal education activities will begin throughout the country on September 15, 2026 ( Meskerem 5, 2019 Ethiopian Calendar).
