Date for this year’s Ethiopian 12th grade national exam has been changed. The exam will begin on June 30, 2026. It will be held completely online in 3 cities.
The Education Assessment and Examinations Service has announced that this year’s Grade 12 national exam will be held from Sene 23/2018 E.C. to Hamle 16/2018 E.C/, June 30 to July 23, 2026 G.C. Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held from July 1 to July 24, 2026. The date has been changed to June 30 – July 23, 2026.
Out of the 563,858 students who registered for the exam, 306,708 are preparing for the exam in natural sciences and 257,150 in social sciences. The exam will be held entirely online in Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa, and Harar.
Preparations have been made to administer the exam in more than 600 exam centers and universities. The Natural Science exam will be held from Sene 23/2018 E.C. to Hamle 03/2018; and the Social Science exam will be held from Hamle 06 to Hamle 16, 2018.
Last month, date for the remedial exam was also changed.
