The Killer of Lisa Desalegn Arrested by Dessie Police
The killer of Lisa Desalegn has been been arrested by Dessie police. The girl went missing on October 8, 2025. According to Dessie police, the main suspect in the case was arrested yesterday.
On October 08, Lisa Desalegn went out to get her sister’s mobile repaired. She studied at a college in Dessie. She did not return. Reportedly, Lisa Desalegn was attacked at night when she went to visit her friend Semhal Zinabu. She was shifted to a hospital with wounds on her neck, head and other parts of the body. She succumbed to her injuries.
The suspect arrested by Dessie police is originally from Kobo town North Wollo zone of the Amhara region. He is a 3rd year student at Dream college in Dessie town.
The Dessie city administration police department established an investigation team and has been conducting investigation and intelligence collection work. According to the investigation team, the process of collecting evidence was difficult because the area where the crime was committed had no street lights and was not frequented by people.
