If you want to update your Fayda information online, you only need a device with internet. The process is relatively straightforward.
In order to update your Fayda information online, visit the official Fayda Resident Portal. Enter your 12-digit Fayda ID number. An OTP will be sent to your registered number. Enter the OTP. Click “Update Demographic Data”. You will have to upload relevant documents as proof to make changes. You do need to upload any documents if you want to update your mobile number or email. But if you want to change your first name, you will have to upload a court decision that shows first name change. If you want to change your date of birth, you will have to upload your birth certificate, resident ID, passport, pension ID, court decision or driving license as proof. You can use the Fayda Digital ID app as well to update your Fayda details online. This application is available on the Play Store. If online updates are unavailable, visit a physical registration center for assistance.
