Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics announced that it generated over 157.2 billion Birr in revenue and recorded a pre-tax profit of 28.2 billion Birr in fiscal year 2025/26.
Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics stated that it achieved a revenue of 157.2 billion Birr in the recently concluded fiscal year, exceeding its planned target of 144.9 billion Birr. The company reported a pre-tax profit of 28.2 billion Birr for the fiscal year, achieving 108.5% of its planned performance. The revenue represents a 27% increase compared to the previous year.
In 1964, Ethiopian Shipping Lines was founded. It merged with three other state owned companies to form Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise (ESLSE). The final consolidation of the merger happened around 2016.
