Ahadu Bank Announces its Profit for 2025/26 fiscal year

Ahadu Bank has shared details of its profit for the 2025/26 fiscal year, showing another year of growth.
Ahadu bank has announced that it made a gross profit before tax and provisions of ETB 1.15 billion in the 2025/26 fiscal year. This is a 94.2% increase compared to 2024/25 fiscal year which shows that the bank has grown strongly over the past year.
The bank’s total income increased to ETB 3.2 billion whereas customer deposits reached ETB 10.5 billion. Ahadu Bank’s total assets expanded by 41.39% and grew to ETB 14.21 billion. It earned USD 126 million from foreign exchange business. These results show that more customers are trusting the bank with their money and using the bank’s services.
During the year, Ahadu Bank opened a new 17- story headquarters building and also introduced two new digital banking services called Ahadu Le Kulu and Mahider. By the end of the 2025/26 fiscal year, the bank has more than 1.34 million customers. This growth shows that the Bank is attracting more customers and improving its services.
Ahadu Bank was founded in 2021 by a group of Ethiopian entrepreneurs and professionals. The bank officaly started operating on July 16, 2022. It was established with the support of more then 10,000 shareholders. The bank’s headquarters is located on Africa Avenue in Addis Ababa.
