Oromo Liberation Army is an armed ethnic militia which has been fighting the Ethiopian security forces in the Oromia region for years. OLA is led by Kumsa Dirriba, popularly known as Jal Marroo. OLA Jal Marro group claims that government has formed its own fake OLA groups to confuse people.
Government sources claim that Jal Borressa is second in command in West Shewa zone. Oromo Liberation Army denies Jal Boressa being part of its organization. According to OLA, its three main commanders in central Oromia, which includes West Shewa, are Jal Abdi, Jal Wegersa and Jal Borre.
