ENDF Brigadier General Dismisses Rumors about his Defection
An ENDF Brigadier General has responded to rumors about his defection. For almost a week, rumors have been going around that the Ethiopian National Defense Force Brigadier General Rashid Ibrahim has defected military and joined Fano militia.
The Brigadier General, on Wednesday, released a video statement. He dismissed rumors about his defection. He said that extremists were spreading propaganda against him. ” I am on job and doing my duties as ENDF officer,” he said.
Last week, pro Fano sources claimed in social media that the Brigadier General had defected and military had lunched an operation to bring him back.
